About Y'BAR Workshops
Who We Are
Y’BAR (Youth Breaking All Roadblocks) was formed for the youth. Our goal is to help children and teenagers master basic life skills and garner practical knowledge they can use in their everyday life. We supplement the academic instruction they receive in school, balancing what they can use to succeed in the future with things they can do right now.
We specialize in youth awareness and tailor workshops to match the socio-economic environment of every partner community, school, or organization.
What We Do
We develop life skill learning programs.
We design and test workshops where learning is progressive, and that progress is tracked against specific metrics. Our interactive programs include one-on-one training and demonstrations to ensure participants know how to apply everything they learned in their homes. They are also applicable to various settings, like classrooms,after-school programs, and alternative youth programs.
Venues and activities may change according to the skill or lesson a group is currently learning. Collaborations occur between each child and the mentors. By taking the skills-building process down to mentor-to-child, participants can remember and practice each skills training better.
We specialize in youth awareness.
More than conducting and facilitating workshops, we raise awareness on the importance of skills development among the youth and engage adults to join in this endeavor.
Y’BAR also promotes self-development among teenagers. Our mentors guide the youth to develop a positive sense of self, exercise their leadership skills, and raise their educational expectations and personal goals.
We work hand-in-hand with
parents and guardians.
Our success hinges on the strength of the mentor network that supports our life skills programs. Y’BAR forms a network of trustworthy, reliable, adult mentors who share our commitment to helping the future generation become capable adults.

We aim to increase the youth's mastery and knowledge of basic and advanced life skills.
Our in-school and after school workshops are appropriate for children aged 11 to 18 (6th-12th graders). We believe that starting them young ensures a higher rate of success in their learning ability. With our firm yet gentle guidance, your children will learn to value and gain a deeper understanding of proper etiquette, housekeeping skills, resource and time management, financial education, wellness initiatives, and more.
